Bylaws are rules and procedures used to determine how a nonprofit will be run. They are the main governing document for your nonprofit corporation. Bylaws are essentially the rules for how the organization will be governed and describe many of the non-profit's activities, such as annual meetings, the make-up of the Board of Directors, and voting procedures. They supplement the rules already defined by the state corporation code.
Use this template a guide for creating your organization’s bylaws. You can modify it and reuse it.
